The trip to the wayanad was just finished, a new anthem in Digimaker India, "
Corporate T20" tournament was the hot topic... And who else but everyone’s very own Mr. Prasad Patel was the caption of the team. Regular practice on nets to J.P Nagar, some 6-7 Kms from my place and some additional Kms from other team members place, yoooooo, everyone excited for the leather ball game and it was seen clearly with the presence of them everyday. The first math at BGS-IT (on Mysor Road) against HP, lost cruelly..hehehe..But boys were high on spirit including me, that we weill come back with the bang in next match.
All this was going on and suddenly the date 14th august was just about to come after 3 days..ohhh GOD the GOA trip. Man i don't want to go..yes this was my reaction..The debate and the convincing process of postponing the trip was on from my side coz, personally it was too much for me in past 20 days..and then we had a great time with cricket and short parties and outings..just had a thought and feeling in heart and mind that GOA would not be fun for me at all, instead next month will be perfect. But our very own Amit Rathod (GOA used to be second home for him..heeee..don’t mind amit)...was full of excited for the same..maybe he was waiting for a trip coz he was busy with life and tides of lives for long..hehe.. SO finally we decided to go.
- 14th of August, and it was the day of Thunder storm in Bangalore, it was one of the wackiest day of our lives..., me and chirag finally decided to leave office in the thunder storm, lifting the bike on the other side of the ring road to avoid the traffic...reached home..F***..no Power at home..no issues..cold water candle light bath and candle light packing in plastic bag..hehe. Water logging in Bangalore, Rickshaws not available, after 45 mins to 1 hour.. finally we managed to find one rick to Majestic...GOD its just 1 km to Majestic and every look and corner is jammed..forget it, says chirag and we paid full 400/- bucks to the rick guy (when it rains in Bangalore, rick owners think they are the only source of survival, so lets loot the commuters..) and started walking towards Railway station. Thank GOD the train was late for atleast half hour....
- Everyone loaded themselves in train with their respective bags, things became smooth, and the favorite pass time comes in, CARDS...huu..That was my day i won around 110/- that day...
- The night was almost over and it was 2:00 AM, everyone was yawning..i decided that we should sleep now..Quickly wrapped the game with table money and lights off...
- Everyone unloaded at hubli, a wonderful Scorpio car was waiting for us outside Station for heading towards GOA. We opened the doors, ohhhh god, it’s not comfortable, no issues I will manage the last seat where there is no place to seat, infact it’s the place to stretch in perpendicular to Road..hahaa...Hmm amit and manish, the whisky and vodka boys... stopped the car at pintos and loaded the bad fuel from there..hehee..the journey begins and lot of fun on the way..with some uneasiness for manish on Ghat roads..atlast the 4 hour journey (which was informed to us) completed in almost 7 hours.. The “VillaSol” Resort came finally and we unloaded our luggage..straight away into the swimming pool...woww...the swimming pool is great after say 7 years now (was a good swimmer during boarding school days)...but thank god..i still know and can swim better...
- The same night still continues, "CHANCES"..the place to become bankrupt for many..but according to my view, its the place to go after one becomes bankrupt to try the remaining luck of life. Yes ladies and gentlemen CHANCES is The CASINO. We three were wondering (except shrini who is an experienced gambler) and watching people playing with those plastic coins..the games looked too complex to understand..but finally i managed to understand the game "21"..And then Parth calls me from Bang..and says bava (it’s my bad pet name given to me in my boarding school in 1988) play and gamble in casino, don’t worry if u loose or don’t know the game..but play. Hmm..Bought the counters for Rs. 1000/-, was having fun after winning 650/- rs..but then lost everything. Well, shocked to see that half of the Gamblers were gujjus in Casino. The lesson learnt: --- Don't go to casino to waste the hard earned money, if u become bankrupt some day, one can try the "luck factor".
-- Atlast after having some road side food, spent some time on Miramar beach...went to resort and had a sound sleep.
-- Second day, the itinerary was planned by the most experienced person for GOA, Amit.. it sound perfect and we all agreed on following the same...
1. chapora fort :- Yes guys, its the place we all saw in Dil chahta hai, were akshay gives the funda of that boat..hehe.. its a mind bogling place i must say..and we had a great time indeed with water either sides of the sea. It was just perfect sunny day..and the view was superb....
2. After some photography on the chapora fort, it was the beach time..just beside chapora fort..another kewl place...but then GOA is full of the beautiful places..so spent some time there abt half hour or so..and straight away headed to Anjuna.
3. Anjuna :-- Famous for many things, and highly qualified media favorite beach in the recent times with some wacky incidents on the beach. The facts of Amit says: -- it’s the place ideally all the foreigners and hippies are found. The sacks, rave parties, and what not happens at Anjuna...but since it’s the monsoon season, could not see the beach as its covered by water....had light refreshment at Anjuna and some shopping, (beach wear, not bikini gusy, just a T-shirt and short pant for the beach water fun at next destination) and a hippy necklace..hahahha..ohh yeah..tasted the famous cashew fenny..oooooo..it taste like acid..hahhahaa
4. Calangute :- Famous for Indians or can be said as a beach for people of india, foreigners thinks its not the place for them..but it was certainly a fun loaded 2 hours for me, manish and chirag. We enjoyed there, played football, we were invited by a gang playing there (i did one goal..hehe)..and huuu manish was so happy coz it was the first experience for him...
5. After calangute, the famous "Aguara fort", everyone was excited to see the sunset, and it was a perfect day for a beautiful sunset.. Was jealous to see the Taj, and the one and only "Kingfisher Villa" enroute to "Aguara fort"....they are the lovliest places to stay in GOA..but one has to be loaded with some $$$ inside the pockets to get into that..hahahha...anyways we had a sound time at aguara fort watching the sea and experiencing the silence. It was just a nostalgic moment i can say for me..had many thoughts sitting there.. but no other choice then to come back to reality after amit says lets go guys its time..
-- It was the time to see the most sought after place. Yes guys "TEETOS" and "MAMBO" including the "bagga beach"...everyone in dillema..wheater to go in or not..we decided to come back at 11:00 PM coz thats the time the real party starts..so just had a wonderful glimpse of Bagga beach at night and headed towards Panji to have dinner.. With differences in the tastes and wishes we had a small heated arguments among ourselves for the place for dinner.. Finally landed up in a resturant called "Moti Mahal"..which is really a mahal if we see the price on the righthand side of the menu...but not the place for value for money..(sorry guys "value for money" is the inheritance given to me by Guj..hehehe)..Hmm wid some time left..Amit suggested for the famous GOAn night boat..we started towards the same..and enjoyed the ride..it’s fun to seat on the roof top and enjoy in the cool Fiza..(breeze)..hee...yes i can't forget the dances in the boat by the performers and the crazy/wacky open house kind of dance in the boat..one can imagine people dancing crazily on the dice after having drinks..hahahha. Going to Tettos and mambo was no more an excitement..so finally decided to get back to resort and have some gupsup and sleep.....
-- the next day..as usual..no body woke up at time and with very less time left..we went to the famous restaurant named "Kamat" for breakfast..followed by the church (the one in JOSH movie)...prayed to GOD..bit seriously..hee..to give the lost key of my good luck lock...and headed towards hubli...
-- My thoughts were nostalgic and i was upset with some memories back in GOA.. Certainly i will come back to GOA atleast one more time.. as GOA was a very special place for my travelling and adventure agendas..hehe...and i could not enjoy many things i wanted to. I missed the water sports (which i was dying for), and much more coz most of the time was wasted in travelling..thats the biggest mistake for all of us...no worriessss...this gave us a wish to visit GOA once more.. may be wid someone special now..hehhehehehhee
